Meet Kelly
Kelly Gibson is the owner and designer at Salt Home Studio. Her passion for design and love of beautiful spaces inspired her to open Salt, a boutique home decor studio dedicated to helping customers create warm and inviting spaces.
​
She believes that a home should be a sanctuary, a place to relax, unwind, and connect with loved ones. Her mission is to help customers achieve that through thoughtful, timeless design and she's dedicated to helping clients create spaces that are beautiful, functional, and comfortable no matter what phase of life they're in.

"Your home should be a space where you feel safe, seen, able to relax and create core memories with people you love. I am often guided by my own experiences when creating spaces; how I've felt in and what has triggered emotion for me in the various homes that brought me up. There are special moments had in every home and I aim to bring those special qualities into every room I'm asked to be a part of."

Kelly's affinity for fashion and design came at an early age and led her to Florida State University where she earned a degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textiles & Business in 2006. After graduation and a short stint in New York City's garment district, she came home to Pensacola. Kelly has worn many hats over the last 18 years all centered around making memorable moments. She worked as a florist and event designer, has created two non profit organizations geared towards community and philanthropy and with her husband has renovated multiple family homes and vacation rentals. It's all been about making an experience, space or moment feel unique and special. The art of gathering with intention, joy and curiosity.

She's constantly exploring new ideas and products to bring to Salt Home, and she's committed to working with artisans and manufacturers who share in her commitment to quality craftsmanship in stylish, functional items that make your home feel uniquely you.

Kelly is a proud Pensacola native, she now lives in Gulf Breeze with her husband and 3 children and their family dog.
